This lip scrub is all natural, and will leave your lips feeling smooth as a babies bottom. The beetroot powder also leaves behind a beautiful red tint, so this product acts as both a lip scrub and stain.
I don't eat sugar, but I always use it on my lips in the summer and winter when they are prone to developing a layer of dry, dead skin on the top layer due to exposure to the harsh elements.
The sugar and tiny bit of salt buffs and exfoliates away the top layer of dry, dull skin, the agave and coconut nectar nourish and protect the skin with a wide spectrum of B vitamins, vitamin C, and minerals (think potassium, magnesium, zinc and iron,) while the coconut and avocado oils moisturize and nourish the lips by killing bad bacteria, softening the lips, and allowing them to take in the vitamin E, carotenoids, protein, and a banana-shaming punch of potassium that the oils offer. The Mango Butter contains essential fatty acids and antioxidants and its long-lasting emollience, which is enhanced by the emollience of the comfrey powder, nourishes the skin and boosts its elasticity as well as its suppleness, thereby making skin look smoother and firmer.
